Kabosu 4 Kids is a charitable campaign created by Variety - the Children’s Charity, inspired by the famous Doge, Kabosu and to honor and celebrate the ripples of kindness they created across the world.

Kabosu 4 Kids is officially endorsed by the Dogemother Atsuko and Own The Doge.

The event will run for the month of October and invites members and fans of the Doge community to fundraise or donate (individually or as a DAO or community) to raise funds to support Autistic kids by providing them with necessary resources like service dogs and sensory equipment.

The official fundraising announcement will be made on Doge Day on 2 November 2024.

Kabosu 4 Kids raises funds to provide life-changing support for children with autism, including sensory tools, assistive technology, and specially trained service dogs.

The Kabosu 4 Kids campaign runs throughout October, culminating in the celebration of Doge Day on 2 November

Yes, you can sign up as a DAO, coin, or other community for Kabosu 4 Kids. The campaign encourages various communities to participate in fundraising efforts, allowing you to create a collective impact. This helps rally your members around a common cause and leverage your community's influence to support kids in need.

Absolutely! Your doge can become a fundraising ambassador by helping to spread the word through social media or doing fundraising activities during the month of October like walkathons, where you ask your community to donate per mile or km you are walking. 

Other fun ideas include doggie dress ups, sharing cute pics of your dog when asking for donations etc!

In March 2024, thanks to Own the Doge, NFD and Oshi Gallery, Variety was the charity recipient of the world's first Doge exhibition.

Funds raised helped Variety in our work to provide life-changing equipment and programs to kids living with disability, illness or disadvantage. 

Variety works closely with the crypto philanthropy community to maximize our impact for kids in need.

You will then be given an option to fundraise in fiat or crypto - selecting crypto will take you to our partner site The Giving Block where you will step through to set up your page.

You will receive an email when your page is approved through The Giving Block - edit it to your liking, grab your link (and some fundraising images above if you like) and share on your socials, on email, Telegram, Reddit and Discord!

Yes, Kabosu 4 Kids accepts donations in both fiat currency and over 100 different cryptocurrencies. 

You will have to choose though which you would prefer to fundraise in (either fiat or crypto)

Donors can contribute directly to your fundraising page using fiat or cryptocurrency. The process is seamless and secure and donors can choose to remain anonymous or provide their details for a tax-receipt. 

To get donations to your page simply share the link generated when you set up your fundaising page. We'll also be listing all the fundraising pages on the Kabuso 4 Kids website.

It costs around $40,000 to train and place a Variety Service Dog with a child in need. Your support will assist Variety to fund dogs for kids currently on our waiting list as well as provide sensory equipment, communication equipment and more to Autistic kids.

Variety – the Children’s Charity has a network of 40 offices in 14 countries, and many millions of individual children around the world live a better life because of the generosity of Variety’s communities of supporters.

Variety - the Children's Charity Victoria help kids who are experiencing disability, disadvantage or illness.

Variety provides support to families and organisations through providing grants for a range of equipment, such as wheelchairs or all-abilities playgrounds to provide practical help to kids, schools and organisations in need.

We run programs to educate and empower kids that are falling through the cracks.

We give scholarships to encourage the talents of kids living with disadvantage or disability.

And last but certainly not least, we hold kids’ events to bring joy, light and laughter to children in need and their families.

Last financial year Variety impacted 17,010 Victorian children and 181,281 Australian children with 7,381 Individual and Community Grants provided and
28 Variety Heart Scholarships issued.
